剧情描写魔界四大天王之一的路西佛，受命欲杀死具有神族血统的卡凯尔，于是卡凯尔组队对抗路西佛，
但却不幸失败，为改变此一结局，卡凯尔于是回到过去，协助自己消灭路西佛的故事。整个游戏的剧情还算蛮不错的，只是战斗上有点困难，特别是各关卡给的限制回合数并不多，强迫己方非得迅速主动出击不可，使得敌人得以以逸待劳。此外，当卡凯尔回到过去后，所有攻防属性会再重置一次，于是先前的练功所得完全付诸流水，虽然合理，但却让人觉得很不爽。
